Ashburton was a comfortable 3-0 winner at BT Connor Reserve on Saturday, as Annabelle Gibney once again helped herself to a double against the sixth-placed Preston Lions. The Lions remain in sixth, but are now six points behind fifth-placed Sandringham and have a vastly inferior goal difference. The reserves also continued on their winning way with a 4 zip score line.

Meanwhile the resurgent State 2 S/E team have not only managed to consolidate top place with their 3:0 win over second placed South Springvale , but they have featured prominently in this weeks "Goal Weekly".
