Ashburton moved to third place on the WPL table with its second 1-0 win over the Casey Comets this season. Danielle Jackson’s first-half goal was enough to carry Ashburton to its first back-to-back wins since round 7. The Comets have started the second half of the season as they began the first – with two straight losses – and have slipped out of the top five into seventh spot.
