Ashburton
returned to the winners list
on Sunday, prevailing 3-2
over the Eastern Lions at
Ashburton Park. Seyma
Erenli’s double moved her to
11 goals for the season,
while Annabelle Gibney
notched her 13th of the
campaign. Kathleen Sailor
scored twice for the
visitors, who stay in eighth
spot. Ashburton has a firm
grip on fourth, eight points
ahead of fifth-placed
Sandringham, however the
sparkling early season form
has diminished over the last
4 weeks.
