Sunday’s top of the table clash lived up to its billing with Heidelberg United pegging back a two-goal half-time deficit to post its ninth win of the season. Ashburton now drops to 3rd position on the WPL ladder behind the Burgers and Box Hill.  Meanwhile the reserves maintained their unbeaten run with a 2 nil result.  In other matches, the State 2 SE team lost to Mooroolbark 3:1, however the State 3 SE team gained another point against Richmond in their 2:2 draw.

The U16s continued their promising form with a 14:0 trouncing of Langwarrin.
